The updated policy Flexible Work Arrangements, Including Remote Work is now posted. Representatives from Human Resources, Academic Affairs and the Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance will be hosting virtual office hours from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, to discuss any questions employees or supervisors may have after reading the new policy. This will not be a formal training session but an opportunity for you to pop in to ask questions and receive guidance.
The Zoom link to join the meeting can be found on the Employee Development Program Training Calendar. Please register to attend.
The updated policy, Flexible Work Arrangements, Including Remote Work, is intended to apply to ongoing flexible work arrangements and describes the request and approval process. Flexible work arrangements are not appropriate for all positions or for all employees. Flexible work arrangements are entered into at the discretion of the university and may be terminated at any time.
Employees who wish to request a flexible work arrangement should read the updated policy and discuss their request with their immediate supervisor. All requests are subject to the approval of the provost or the relevant vice chancellor.
