Free-agent linebacker Reuben Foster will work out for the Cleveland Browns on Friday, according to multiple reports on Thursday. The 27-year-old worked out with the Jets and Jaguars earlier this month, though he has not yet signed a contract.
Foster, a star at Alabama, was selected 31st by the 49ers in 2017. He racked up 101 tackles over 16 games in San Francisco in 2017 and 2018, but he was sidelined due to a host of off-field issues.
Washington claimed Foster off waivers when the 49ers cut ties with him, but he didn't play a snap for the WFT after suffering a torn ACL and LCL in 2019. He has not appeared in a game in nearly three years.
