BENNINGTON — The following list of road projects for the coming week was supplied by the Bennington Department of Public Works. Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays, as workers and equipment will be in roadways. All work is weather-dependent.
Burgess Road will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday and Thursday for paving. No through traffic will be allowed.
The upper part of Chapel Road, north of Crossover Road, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the next two weeks as a contractor crew continues PFOA water main extension work. Detours will be in place.
A water crew will be installing hydrants on Darling Street on Thursday, and on John Street on Tuesday.

Kocher Drive will continue to have lane restrictions between Aldi's and Performance Drive for work on the sidewalk extension project.

No parking will be allowed on the shoulder on Main Street between Beech and Morgan streets on Tuesday as the sewer department inspects a main.
Matteson Road will be reduced to one lane on Friday for paving.
North Branch Street will be reduced to one lane on Monday and Tuesday for paving. Motorists are reminded that the road has been milled.

Performance Drive will be reduced to one lane on Thursday and Friday for paving.
Sweets Lane near the Brooklyn Bridge will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday for paving.
Townwide: Highway crews will continue weed trimming and roadside mowing throughout town.
