Syracuse, N.Y. -- Mower, one of the nation’s largest independent marketing, advertising and public relations agencies, has been named to PRNEWS’ Top Places to Work in PR for 2020.
The annual listing recognizes organizations with positive work cultures that make employees feel valued and motivated. Mower was one of 50 firms honored this year for their focus on diversity and inclusion, gender equality, career development, community service and work/life balance, among other criteria.
This is the Syracuse-based agency’s fifth appearance on the Top Places to Work list. It also made the list in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2018.
PRNEWS cited the agency’s Annual Day of Caring, in which each of its nine offices chooses a local charity to support with a day of service; its Mower Connect mentoring program; and several other factors in its decision to include Mower among the best places for public relations professionals to work.
In addition to Syracuse, Mower has offices in Albany, Buffalo, New York City and Rochester, and Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati and Charlotte.
